blues are going down (well kinda…)
What an exciting day… Sunday morning at 9.00am at Paddington the atmosphere was busy full of Gooners and Blues fans heading to Cardiff for the first official match against two Premier League side before the new season starts! When we got to Cardiff, I couldn’t believe the amount of fans that had travelled from London to see this match! It was like a sea of blue on one side of the city and a sea of maroon on the other! I’m not going to talk much about the match but I will say that the Millenium Stadium is a magnificent venue to hold any sort of event. The views from any of the seats are spectacular and atmosphere was pumping! Anyway, Arsenal lost
but they were definately the better side. The skill shown on the pitch was unbelievable and they were running circle round Lampard and Terry! Man of the Match for me was Freddie Lungberg due to his sheer passion and determination to win every single ball (and successful did so) Getting back to London wasn’t so much of a nightmare as “the Milton Keynes and the Green Day Concert” hooha! We still had to wait for about an hour before getting on to a train and they crammed us in like cattle! But we ended up in Paddington 2 hours later which wasn’t so bad!
