There are 3 pools at my appartment! This is the one where I try to do lengths when i get back from the hospital! I’m trying to balance out all the food i’m eating here but i don’t think it’s working!

My mum was in singapore for my first week here which was really nice. We ate out every night - i’ve definitely put all the weight back on that I lost in Sri Lanka! This is us at a Vietnamese restaurant.

Hi Grandma, hope your doctors appointment went well! Sorry i didn’t get your message in time to get a baby elephant! I’ve got lots more photos of them to show when i get back though.

just a quick message to say that i’m sorry if people have left messages on my blog and i haven’t replied to them. A couple of people have told me they’ve left comments but I don’t seem to be getting them. Just wanted to let you know in case you thought I was ignoring you.

For the past 4 weeks me and emma have used tuk tuks to get around colombo. Although after our first journey we swore we’d never get in one again, we soon got used to them.

At the Tsunami clinic

On our second day at the east coast we travelled to a camp for people who lost their homes in the tsunami. Some of the stories people told us were quite shocking. One of the nurses we were working with had lost her 3 sisters and her parents.
